Ancient forests are in crisis. Peoples and cultures dependant on these forests suffer through illegal and destructive timber logging. Plants, birds and animals are being driven to extinction. Sources of future medicines being destroyed at an astonishing speed.
Approximately 80% of the world’s ancient forests have already disappeared.
Of the millions of Christmas cards bought and sold this year, often in aid of good causes, many may have
contributed to the destruction of our ancient forests by using board made from unknown, potentially illegal
sources.
The Solution
Cards produced carrying the FSC logo, have been produced in a responsible way, respecting people, wildlife and forest environments and protecting our ancient forest heritage.
