Greenpeace's Ancient Forest Campaign
Greenpeace has been campaigning for 10 years to protect the world’s ancient forests and the future of the
many plants, animals and people who depend upon them.
They investigate and expose the trade in illegal and destructively logged timber and support the rights of
forest peoples. They challenge governments and industry to end their role in ancient forest destruction.
Greenpeace promotes real alternatives such as products certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), which ensures that timber comes from environmentally and socially responsible forest management.
